I am a board certified hospital chaplain working in Owensboro, Kemtucky. I am also co-chair of an upcoming Summit '09, which will be a joint meeting of the six major national chaplain organizations in North America, convening in Feb. 2009 in Orlando, Florida. This summit is focused on holistic and comprehensive care and compassion to those affected by the health care system, patients, families, staff, case managers, chaplains, and all others interested in lifting up the awareness of the concerns and needs of individuals who come in contact with the health care system.
